A good sport, Kate Moss went on live London radio—her friend Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show—and read a steamy passage from Fifty Shades of Grey.

Before starting, she said, “There’s a reason I don’t talk.” But actually, her voice is perfectly lovely, with no sign of the pinched-face accent one might expect of a Croydon native. When she finished reading the fairly tame passage completely straight-faced, she burst into silent laughter.

Here’s another bit of irony: the reading was done to raise money for Britain’s Red Nose Day. We think she’d be cool if that gave you a chuckle.
