Lady Gaga will croon a tune on a spaceship during the Zero G Colony high-tech festival in New Mexico in an effort to become the first person to sing in space.

A source told Us Weekly she’ll blast off in a Virgin Galactic ship and “has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere.” Or lack thereof. The stunt comes approximately six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight.

She’ll also bring one or more members from her “glam squad.” Because nothing says rocket science like costume changes. There’s just one small problem. This astronaut has already sung David Bowie’s Major Tom in space…
