Thom Browne’s New York Apartment Revealed
We’re liking this thing Architectural Digest is doing, where they showcase the homes of the fashion-famous in large, lavish, lusty spreads. Inez Van Lamsveerde and Vinoodh Matadin were the last to offer a lascivious look at their home. Now it’s Thom Browne’s turn — like some swinging key party.
The menswear designer’s cozy one-bedroom penthouse in Greenwich Village was shot, in all its modest midcentury masculinity, by Dennis Friedman. Along with captions tantalizingly touting names like Gio Ponti (nightstands), Paul McCobb (bar cart), and Jansen (lacquered screen) sits a deliciously descriptive interview by Lynn Yaeger. It’s a must-ogle.
