As of today, Givenchy has a shiny new website. Combining the scroll-down simplicity of Tumblr with the crisp white background of an art gallery, Riccardo Tisci went for a “very visual and instinctive access.”
All of Tisci’s collections, projects, and accolades on behalf of the French house are present and accounted for, as well as an in-depth historical look at the house’s founder, Hubert de Givenchy. Fanatics will surely swoon over a section devoted to Givenchy’s identity and codes, including nine recurring themes ranging from ambiguity to “urban couture.”
Currently there is no e-tail, but you can bet your Rottweiler prints it’s coming — in early September, to be exact.
