Should the sight of Prada’s ad campaign in every fashion magazine not be enough for you this fall, Steven Meisel has started shooting videos to accompany his seasonal photographs. And it is fun to see the models try their hand at acting and hear their still-girlish voices (the accents!).

This season Meisel takes the starlet theme and runs with it, having his models pose as auditioning actresses in old Tinseltown, reading their lines on a shadowy Hollywood set. Nine models — Sophia Ahrens, Freja Beha, Caroline De Maigret, Malaika Firth, Kristine Froseth, Catherine McNeil, Amanda Murphy, Cameron Russell, Fei Fei Sun — are forever ready for their close-up, even if they forever flub their lines.
