Givenchy Men’s
The sweatshirts, the buttoned-up shirts, the leggings, the thick-soled sandals, the skirt effects, the rippling male torsos, the studied layering, the coats cinched around the waists. All of Riccardo Tisci’s signatures were gathered at his latest Givenchy show, only ths time they were mostly presented in bold, techno prints inspired, according to the press notes, by “vintage 1970s computers, electronics’ loudspeakers and African ethnography.”
The designer showed the sportswear pieces he’s known for, reassuring his huge fan base (which includes Madonna’s boyfriend Brahim, who was sitting front row in the raw concrete venue at Les Docks, the new hot fashion hub on the Seine) and offering them news with the graphic blue and red patterns.
