Daft Punk Goes Country
Living up to the name of their new album, Random Access Memories, Daft Punk have decided to pre-release it at a country fair. Not just any country fair, but the Wee Waa Show in Wee Waa, Australia, which happens to be the cotton capital of the island nation. So, among the “pet show, showgirl competition, cross cut saw competition, and fireworks,” according to Wee Waa’s website, 4,000 people from the area will be treated to a playback of the album on May 17. The rest of the world will have to wait until May 21, the official release date.
