The idea of a car with wings will either take flight instantly or stall on the tarmac, but leave it to Jeremy Scott to give it a whirl. Unveiled this week in the L.A. Auto Show and available to the public next year, the Los Angeles designer’s concept for Smart’s first electric car features feather-like shapes on the back, an extension of the rear lights. Called Smart forJeremy, the project marks the first time a fashion designer has modified the body of an automobile, not just the interior or the exterior colors.
