Among all the speculation surrounding Nicolas Ghesquière’s departure from Balenciaga, this much we know: one of his last deeds will be designing a Pudsey Bear. Curated by LOVE magazine’s Katie Grand, the new crop of Pudseys will be auctioned off on November 15 to benefit the BBC charity Children In Need. And there’s more. Chesquière didn’t create just one stuffed toy, but five, all taken from Balenciaga’s spring 2008 collection, Flora. Other designer bears include Giles, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, Victoria Beckham, Versace, Fendi, Gucci, and Prada.
