Featuring the rumbling baritone vocals of Laid Back, Kasper Bjørke’s Bohemian Soul was already a deep and deep-bassed ditty (“Life is good, life is strange, life is tougher when it rains”) before director Karim Huu Do filmed this video on location in Thailand. Moody and meditative, it delves into the lives of Thailand’s kathoey, aka ladyboys, as they go about rehearsing and primping for a night’s work at the village cabaret.
