Its last big style moment was Snooki’s poof, but MTV is back in the fashion game with a reboot of the legendary House of Style, after a 12-year hiatus. In the 10-minute online premiere (it’s only online, oddly), new-generation supes Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls took the HoS cameras on a behind-the-scenes tour at the Paris spring collections. Between fittings and catwalk turns, the gals traded stories of their gawky teenage years—like Smalls’s penchant for wearing two pairs of tube socks to hide her skinny ankles—and shared secrets for staying sane while on the road.

The show also offered a model’s-eye perspective of the shows, although interviews with Jean Paul Gaultier and Stella McCartney were a little underwhelming—awkward, even, with background sound and shaky handheld-style video. But nothing that can’t be worked out once they get a few more episodes under their size-0 belts.
