Some are comparing Lescop to Ian Curtis, others to Air. Either way, the soulful French artist with only a handful of singles to his name couldn’t have asked for a more promising start. His song Le Forêt, about his death in the forest at the hands of another, was given the golden touch by consummate French remixer Joakim in an uptempo version that debuted at Balenciaga’s spring collection a couple of weeks ago.
