Kicking off the spring collections, Richard Chai showcased his men’s and women’s LOVE line at Lincoln Center. Judging from the airy frocks and cool pastels, we’re in for an easy breezy season. Always a good bet for spring. The twist could be found in techno-sport details: sheer fabrics, straps and zips, neoprene and nylon.

A standout for the ladies was a crop-top and gold skirt pairing, necessitating a lot of time spent at the gym this winter. As for the boys, suits in powdery blue and a two-toned gray and navy fit the bill. As did those zip-up polo shirts. Truth be told, we have a hunch Chai’s light-as-a-feather vision will reiterate itself in the days and weeks ahead. Stay tuned.
