Joan Smalls & Karlie Kloss Named as New Hosts of House of Style

When MTV announced in July they would be bringing back ’90s favorite House of Style, we immediately flashed back to memories of Cindy, Amber and Shalom. While gleefully celebrating the return of the classic, we couldn’t help but wonder, in all seriousness, what face the network would anoint as its host. Turns out, Hint’s hunch was (half) right.

The big reveal came last night at the VMAs, when Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls hit the red carpet on their first official HoS assignment. The bubbly and telegenic duo, who have ten years of runway experience between them, cut a stunning pair in contrasting black and white. While the new program promises the same mix of backstage coverage and street style, we can’t wait to see what the two do with the show—after all, they were too young to watch it the first time around.

Don’t run for the remote though. The new House of Style will be a biweekly 5-minute web series. Tune in October 9 at Style.mtv.com.
