Apparently, if studies are to be believed, there are more sad songs today than in a very long time. You can blame tearjerking types like Adele for killing the buzz, but the reality is: people love sad songs. Adding to the growing list comes DJ Ease My Mind, a haunting yet oddly danceable ballad by Niki and The Dove. In the disco-pop tradition of their native Sweden, Malin Dahlstrom and Gustaf Karlof normally produce perfectly happy, synthy tunes. This isn’t one of them.
