In a bit of sad news, b store in London will close its doors at the end of this month, after ten pioneering years. But in OTHER news, it’s being re-imagined, repackaged, and reincarnated as another men’s shop called…OTHER. As well as moving to all caps, founders Kirk Beattie and Matthew Murphy have returned to their roots, mixing hard-to-find men’s designers with happy-to-find men’s favorites. An early list includes MM6, Opening Ceremony, Judy Blame, Peter Jensen, and Christophe Lemaire, as well as the duo’s own b store and OTHER labels. They’re also adding a gallery space. And so, it’s not another men’s store, it’s OTHER shop.
