Something Different: Bruce LaBruce

Inspired partly by witnessing a car crash outside his family’s farm as a child and partly by Jean-Luc Godard’s 1967 black-comedy Weekend, a film full of violent car crashes, Bruce LaBruce has come out with his Play Dead series of graphic scarves. In collaboration with Front Row Society, the indie filmmaker, gay-zombie enthusiast, and ANTM live-tweeter has immortalized his morbid fascination with bodily wreckage on four large cotton-silk styles. If they were made of rubber, you’d really be rubbernecking.

Limited to 200 each, $267.46 at Front Row Society, $1 of each sale goes to the Ethical Fashion Forum
