Something Different: Marc Jacobs X Batle Studio

Marc Jacobs’ rebel ways and Batle Studio’s expertise with graphite combine to create Digitus Infamis Adàmas, Latin for “infamous diamond finger.” Why diamond? Because there’s a 1.5 carat stone at the base of the middle finger, revealed when the user and artist, presumably, wears the finger away through drawing, drawing and more drawing.

Itself an art object, the hand-numbered, limited-edition, all-carbon hand—possibly Jacobs’ own, if his well-documented exhibitionism is any indication—is available exclusively at BookMarc in New York and Los Angeles.
