Like an Afrikaans mash-up of Eminem, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Weird Al comes Die Antwoord’s latest. Okay, so maybe the title, Baby’s On Fire, is lifted from a 1973 cult Brian Eno song. But there’s nothing moody about this high-energy, high-camp ditty that twinkles with comedic self-awareness and techno-rap hubris. And if anyone can rescue beats-per-minute from the bowels of Frankfurt dance halls, it’s Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er, she with the psycho-ward mullet and, as she mentions in the video, an FHM cover. Wait, for real?
