Carine Roitfeld’s return to the top of a masthead with her eponymous CR Fashion Book is one of fall’s hotly anticipated moments. Yet aside from the names of a few early hires and a cover mock-up, little has been released about the project, leaving fans used to the instant access of the Twitter age craving a morsel of intel. With a little patience, though, they’ll soon get the whole inside scoop, thanks to a new film that takes an unprecedented look into the world according to Roitfeld.

Documentarian Fabien Constant, who recently photographed La Roitfeld couture shopping for W magazine, is currently trailing the editrix for the upcoming Mademoiselle C., a fly-on-the-wall documentary about the magazine’s launch. The film, which will undoubtedly feature cameos from fashion VIPs, has already confirmed appearances by some of Roitfeld’s inner circle, including Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace. Filming will continue right up until the magazine’s September launch, allowing an intimate glimpse of how Ms. C. runs her chic ship.
