Amid the sunburns, lawn parties, cut-off jeans, and band-stalking at Coachella next week will be a dream-of-the-90s addition. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein of the meta-hilarious sketch comedy Portlandia will host a night of “mystery music, improvised shenanigans and group fun” at the Ace Hotel, which, after all, was born in Portland. It’s unclear which characters the duo will don, but apparently they haven’t been entirely forthcoming about their run-of-show—which is very Portlandia and very Coachella, so it’s kind of perfect.
