For his ten-day exhibit, Delirium Tremens, artist Michael Sagato painted “notable models” striking suggestive poses in the nude, while protecting their identities with a large pink elephant head. Referring to alcohol withdrawal, the title is where the term “the shakes” comes from, while alcohol over-indulgence leads to “seeing pink elephants,” or whatever your fantasies may be. Hiccup!
