Andre Leon Talley Lands a TV Show
Andre Leon Talley’s getting ready for prime time. Apparently holding down a post as editor-at-large at Vogue isn’t enough for the larger-than-life personality. After a hilarious and somewhat mortifying guest-judge stint on America’s Next Top Model, Talley is headed for a starring role on Bravo.
Tentatively titled Fashion Stories of NYC, the show has Talley mentoring four young fashion designs teams as they create the “defining collection of their careers.” It’s too early to tell how this format will differ from the other twenty dozen fashion design competitions currently airing, but if producers can work in some of the panel cattiness of Project Runway, table-throwing of Mob Wives, hair-pulling of Bad Girls Club, plus maybe a hot hook-up, we’ll definitely tune in.
