Crystal Fighters – Plage (Felix Cartal Remix)

Last summer, the English-Basque band Crystal Fighters came out with a sweet little serenade about going down down down to the plage—or beach—for a moonlit splash-about with the most beautiful girl. It might just be the perfect summer song. So now that another winter has gone by, albeit the winter that wasn’t, a wave of remixes has just been released. This one, by Felix Cartal, gets a little clubby in parts, but if you can get past the oonce-oonce, the charm and innocence of the original will still wash over you. It seems the best things in life get better with plage.
