Lana Del Rey – Blue Jeans (Kris Menace Remix) by Kris Menace

There’s something about Lana Del Rey that splits people into the usual two camps: haters and defenders. The haters will point to her pop-out-of-nowhereness, self-entitled demeanor, seemingly altered facial features (starting with her perma-pouty lips), and that aloof SNL performance. On the other hand, the defenders will write lengthy think pieces in the likes of The New Yorker, going to Herculean lengths to glean important pop-cultural significance from the very same things the haters find so horrid.

In the spirit of fairness, and not having researched enough to form a strong opinion on the subject, we’ll simply submit this sweet, even angelic, remix of her single Blue Jeans by the German music producer Kris Menace. It should make you forget all about the ongoing controversy. (By the way, has anyone noticed how she sounds a little like Kate Bush? Wait, we hate her now!!)
