For his second line, Marc Jacobs continues to deliver collections that appeal to slightly nerdy art chicks and their geekyish architect boyfriends. The heavy use of stiff skirts and dresses were seen throughout, in variations from floral to velvet, paired with flat combat boots and socks. Women sported one-piece jumpsuits with hats reminiscent of toy soldiers, while men wore military-inspired outwear. For both, coats in wool, mohair and plaid were belted at the waist.
Jacobs also sent out what could be considered evening looks—dresses, jackets, tops—in bright blue and gold lurex. Because even the most square could use a dose of sparkle.
