Acne has another New York store planned for next year—its 32nd worldwide—even if the paint is barely dry in its new and second Paris outlet, at 3 rue Froissart. Along with in-house architect Andreas Fornell, Acne’s own Jonny Johansson designed the small space in the third arrondissement, transforming it from a Gallic car garage into a Swedish minimalist’s early Christmas present, complete with concrete walls, aluminum partitions, and blood-red ceilings.

To celebrate the opening, Acne Paper’s Thomas Persson hosted a private dinner at famed French restaurant La Pérouse on Tuesday night. Making an appearance were Irina Lazareanu, Frédéric Sanchez, Nathalie Dufour, Catherine Baba, Anthony Vaccarello, and London cabaret performer Jonny Woo, who dazzled the cozy crowd with a few dragged-up, dressed-down ditties.
