Tim Gunn Strikes Back at Lady Gaga

In the fickle world of fashion, claws-out catfights are surprisingly rare. But recently Lady Gaga has found herself in at least two. After her public tussle with New York Times’ fashion critic Cathy Horyn over her hard-hitting, sharp-tongued ways, now the pop star is seemingly at it with Tim Gunn.

It all began when Gaga appeared on The View in August, referring to Gunn as a “fashion bully” for comments he made about Hillary Clinton’s penchant for pantsuits. The Project Runway patriarch returned fire with slights concerning Gaga’s sartorial choices. The latest comes from an interview with Hollywood Life in which he notes, “What I’ve said about her is very matter-of-fact. She doesn’t wear clothes, she wears costumes! So would I ever put her on a best-dressed list or list her among fashion icons? Of course not.” Hmmm, didn’t she win this year’s Fashion Icon Award from the CFDA?

This must just be a bad fashion romance. Dukes down, ladies.
