Inspiring us right now: images from Nailed, a new book recounting the history of extreme nail culture from around the world, researched by bling artist Dzine and introduced by Paper’s Kim Hastreiter. During Art Basel Miami Beach, The Standard Miami will fete the book’s release by hosting Imperial Nails, a nail salon and site-specific installation harking back to the Dzine’s childhood home, where his mother operated a makeshift nail salon.
