Hooked: Comme des Garçons x Keith Haring

Except for Coca Cola and Mickey Mouse, it hardly gets more iconic or universal than Keith Haring’s Radiant Baby pictograph. The New York street artist—who succumbed to AIDS in 1990—created the symbol in the early 80s to represent life and purity. Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, forever on the lookout for truth and authenticity, has collaborated with the Keith Haring company on a new men’s and women’s collection of sweaters and T-shirts featuring Radiant Baby and other Haring symbols. The sweaters come in both lambswool and cashmere. $135-$910 at all Comme stores.
