Inspiring us right now: Michael Clark, the title subject of a massive new monograph. Part of the postpunk art scene, the colorful British dancer, choreographer, and Royal Ballet School graduate has collaborated with everyone from Bodymap and Leigh Bowery to Charles Atlas and Peter Greenaway. He formed his own dance company in 1984, at the age of 22, immediately earning commissions from Rudolf Nureyev before going on to create or appear in more than 40 works in the last 25 years.
