You’ll Never Guess Who This Is
His face full of tattoos earned him a leading role in Nicola Formichetti’s Mugler redux. Now, in a kind of reverse Halloween, Rick “Zombie Boy” Genest has landed another campaign—this time by covering it all up.
In a new video for professional-grade cosmetics company Dermablend, the totally tattooed (well, except for one very sensitive area) Montreal model and carnival performer demonstrates the brand’s concealing prowess by appearing without a shirt and seemingly without any tattoos. Part of the Go Beyond the Cover campaign, the three-minute video (currently removed from YouTube) kicks off when Genest grabs some make-up remover and begins revealing his head-to-toe ink, undoing the work of three make-up artists and four tubes of Dermablend Professional Leg and Body Cover plus Leg and Body Tattoo primer to conceal.
Something to think about if you ever find yourself with a regrettable tattoo or unsightly blemish you’d like to give the day off.
