As usual, Paris Fashion Week saw some toothsome parties, but no one has more bite than Carine Roitfeld. Getting a head-start on Halloween, Roitfeld threw a Vampire Ball at Chez Raspoutine, a restaurant chosen in honor of her Russian father, to celebrate the launch of her new book, Irreverent.

Revelers took the dress code to heart, interpreting the theme every which way, but few went as far as Olivier Theyskens, who kept it supernatural with tinted contact lenses, or Riccardo Tisci, who had fake blood spilling from his mouth. Other creatures of the night included Mario Testino, Alber Elbaz, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Cindy Sherman, Uma Thurman, and Rick Owens. Luckily, no blood was spilled.
