Art is imitating life for Boardwalk Empire starlet Paz de la Huerta. The often inebriated, often exposed actress is the new face—and crotch?—of lingerie powerhouse Agent Provocateur. The risqué label of lacy underthings selected the perpetually, notoriously near-naked de la Huerta to strut her stuff in their finest finery for a paparazzi-themed campaign shot by Johan Renck, and a series of equally hot short films to go live in September.

It doesn’t hurt that the sexy star happens to look great in underwear, and the brand is clearly playing that up. Among de la Huerta’s most famous exploits: she was turned away from a Golden Globes party in January for being too sloshed to notice a prominent nip slip and has been shot by the paps in a variety of other wardrobe-malfunction moments. As far as we know, however, she has not yet accidentally-intentionally flashed vag—and Agent Provocateur surely hopes she won’t. A company rep says the campaign is a guide to “strategically flashing your lingerie.” Here’s hoping the bombed bombshell is taking notes.
