Now, the news that Louis Vuitton will launch an as-yet unnamed exhibit paying tribute to its 14-year creative director seems to be the exclamation point thereafter, in a kind of fitting and fond adieu. WWD reports the de facto retrospective, to take place only during Fashion Week in Milan and Paris, will be curated by stylist Katie Grand, who has the daunting task of whittling it down from 70 ready-to-wear seasons under Jacobs’ belt.
