The Essential Guide to Fashion’s Night Out

Unless you had the stamina (and flying reindeer) of Santa Claus, it would be impossible to go everywhere and do everything on Fashion’s Night Out. So here’s our essential guide, the New York edition, updated daily. See you around!…

Alexander McQueen
McQueen stores in New York, Los Angeles, and London will be handing out a limited number of skull key rings, some of which contain an online code to win a Folk tote, the house’s latest it-bag.
September 8, 6-10 pm, Alexander McQueen, 417 W 14th St, NYC

Yves Saint Laurent
Nicki Minaj will stop into YSL to celebrate FNO and the launch of the house’s latest accessory, the Cabas Chyc bag. A styling competition will also take place, in collaboration with Tamu McPherson of the blog All The Pretty Birds, from which images will stream to YSL’s Facebook page, to be voted on by fans. Every Cabas Chyc purchased will be accompanied by a gift of YSL essentials: beauty products, a silk logo scarf, and a pair of the latest YSL sunglasses.
September 8, 7-10 pm, YSL, 3 E 57th St, NYC

Calvin Klein
Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli will fete Lara Stone at the Calvin Klein flagship on Madison Avenue. Stone herself will be on hand, as well as on a limited-edition T-shirt for sale that night only. Shoppers who manage to get their pictures taken with the international supe and face of the house this season will have their pics posted on Calvin Klein’s Facebook page.

Aside from exclusive new merch trotted out, Stephen Jones will make an appearance at the newly renovated 22nd Street location, in celebration of his longstanding partnership with Comme and the opening of his Bard Graduate Center exhibition on September 15. A selection of his archival hats will be on display, and several styles will be available for purchase. Customers who spend $750 or more will receive a free 888 150mg candle. Meanwhile, a few blocks down at Comme’s Edited Black, the Taiwanese food cart Baohaus will serve its signature fare alongside the musical stylings of DJ Ansoni. All customers who spend $250 or more will receive a free box of Incense Series 3 incense sticks.
