David Lynch is doing a lot these days, and from an auteur-savant like him, that’s nothing new. It’s just that, well, there’s something a little mid-life crisis-y about his latest endeavor, an electronic pop album. It’s called Crazy Clown Time and it’s just been completed. But don’t take our word for it; have a listen to the first single, Good Day Today, which hit YouTube a few months ago.

Lynch’s new club Silencio has given us the Paris itch ever since we reported on it, but now, seeing the silver-haired fox behind the DJ booth might just be too ennuient. The full album is set to be released on November 8 via Sunday Best Recordings. Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs guest-vocals on one track, so we’re hoping Good Day Today was in fact a bad day and that the rest of the album is genius as we know Lynch to be.
