Daria Strokous
Booking the Jil Sander campaign two seasons in a row is no easy feat, but that’s exactly what future supe Daria Strokous has done. The just-released fall campaign, shot by Willy Vanderperre and art directed by Sander designer Raf Simons himself, shows a moody stoicism that comes naturally to the Russian model. Since debuting on Prada’s runway in 2007—which, at this point, don’t they all?—Daria has seen the lens of everyone from Steven Meisel to Mario Sorrenti, dominating the pages of W and V. After a decade of Russian models, it’s nice to know Moscow can still bring it. (Women)
