There aren’t many places we’d imagine wearing head-to-toe Prada. Except in our dreams, where we’ve raided our dowager grandmother’s closet and we’re lounging around, bored, in her unintentionally vintage sitting room, wearing layer upon layer of mismatched grandeur. That’s precisely what Prada’s new womenswear campaign evokes. Launching model Kelly Mittendorff’s career with her first gig as the face of the campaign (second image, on the right), photographer Steven Meisel brings to mind a casualness Prada has always scoffed and every girl’s infatuation with playing dress up.
