We’re J’Loving…
that Angelina Jolie’s fee to appear in Louis Vuitton’s latest Core Values campaign (formerly modeled by Sean Connery) was donated entirely to charity. Which charity? It isn’t specified, but no doubt highly reputable—and there’s a lot to feel good about anyway. For example, the campaign was shot by Annie Leibovitz in the Siem Reap province of Cambodia, where Jolie filmed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2000, returning a year later to raise landmine awareness as the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Goodwill Ambassador, subsequently adopting her eldest son Maddox from a Cambodian orphanage. Plus, wherever she goes, she insists on covering all costs and sharing the same living conditions as the UN field staff accompanying her. Here, Jolie sits barefoot in a traditional wooden boat with a vintage Louis Vuitton Alto caryall bag that she’s owned for years slung over her shoulder. It’s a celebrity antic you can actually admire. Integrity personified, mission accomplished.
