We doubt it was planned this way, but the timing of the exhibit Post 9-11 at OHWOW gallery in L.A., just weeks after the unceremonious slaying of porn-loving, beard-dying Osama bin Laden, is quite uncanny. The group show features the work of nine New York artists—Dan Colen, Terence Koh, Hanna Liden, Nate Lowman, Adam McEwen, Ryan McGinley, Agathe Snow, Dash Snow, and Aaron Young, most of them friends and collaborators—whose work defined both the pessimism of the decade since and the optimism of a new millennium.
