How You Can Help the CFDA Help Japan

How much would you pay to meet Anna Wintour and be a fly on the wall at a Vogue photo shoot? How much would you shell out for a custom suit and fitting by Tom Ford himself? A style consultation over lunch with Tim Gunn? What about a Barbie custom-made in your likeness, valued by Mattel at over $10,000?

Those aren’t hypothetical questions. They’re just a few out of dozens of actual and truly amazing donations from New York’s fashion community in the CDFA’s Fashion & Friends for Japan auction to raise funds for earthquake and tsunami relief. All proceeds from the online auction at luxury charity auction site (through April 28) will benefit the Japan Society’s Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, which will funnel 100% of the monies it receives to front-line organizations assisting Japan’s short and long-term recovery.
