Paul Birardi and Eddy Chai of the dual New York men’s boutiques have concocted four such votives, housed in sleek, translucent black glass. Each one complements an existing unisex fragrance: Sunda (creamy juniper berries, cedar leaves, pepper); Owari (mandarin, grapefruit, musk); Century (birch, mint, patchouli); and the most recent addition, Petrana (black iris, coriander, spicy pink pepper).
