Money Where Your Mouse Is: Lanvin
To our European friends and fellow lovers-of-Lanvin, we’re pleased to report that the house’s e-store—called, simply and cutely, e-Lanvin—that kicked off in the U.S. some months ago has expanded, now accepting that mixed bag of Old World currencies.
Just as you might expect, Alber Elbaz’s trademark winks and nudges are plentiful on the new site, amounting to a joyous meta-swirl of fringed-neck T-shirts, rhinestoned ballerina flats, snow globes, tulle wedding veils (seriously), asymmetric beach dresses, and fox-fur earmuffs.
Meanwhile, courtesy of Lanvin men’s designer Lucas Ossendrijver, men also have loads to be pleased with, like polo shirts with a funny insignia, comfy-looking suede sandals, and embroidered baseball caps. It goes to show, yet again, that there are no frowns in Lanvin’s universe—just pursed red lips and friendly gazes.
