Ever since Chanel launched its legendary Vamp nail polish at its campy runway show back in 1994, with rhinestone G-strings and Amanda Lear on the soundtrack, the fabled house has kept churning out blockbuster nail colors. Spring has only barely begun, but buzz is already mounting around Black Pearl, courtesy of Kate Moss, who was recently spotted wearing it. The shimmery, metallic gray-green shade was created by Chanel’s make-up creative director, Peter Philips, who, by the way, recently unveiled a terrific commercial in which robots made out of Chanel beauty products come to life.
