Really, who cares about Kate Middleton’s wedding dress when there are actual important nuptials in sight? We mean, of course, Kate Moss, who hinted a couple of weeks ago (by way of a huge rock on her finger) that she’s getting hitched to The Kills frontman Jamie Hince. A date was set for later in the year, but last week Dame Westwood threw an intriguing wrench into Kate’s wedding mix, suggesting backstage after her Red Label show that the waifish vixen and longtime pal was planning on designing her own wedding gown. Normally, we’d cringe at the thought, but given her stints at Topshop, we’d make an exception. Last night, however, at a Topshop dinner, Kate conceded that she’s actually opting out of the home-sewn route, enlisting another of her glamorous besties to design the dress. Turns out it’s John Galliano, who Kate has worked with since her teen years, and who’ll be whipping up a gown worthy of, well, royalty.
