Christiane Stenger, however, seems to be in a trance as she stares out from the transparent red box of her new fragrance, The Beautiful Mind. This is likely because she’s a memory athlete; seriously, she’s a Grand Master of Memory in her native Germany. Christiane’s unique gift for recall was crucial in the creation of the fragrance, especially in making the first in the series, Intelligence & Fantasy. Perfumer Geza Schoen collaborated with Christine on the heady scent of tropical florals. Just like Geza’s cult fragrance, Escentric Molecules, Intelligence & Fantasy contains Iso E Super, a mysterious chemical that’s either velvety or woody, or both—we forget. Christiane wouldn’t.
