Tom Ford is following his secret, exclusive, not-for-the-unwashed-masses spring show in New York by heading to London. This is not some Madge-style defection, though we wouldn’t put it past Major Tom to don a faux accent, but a move of practicality. The collection will be shown by appointment only in the cozy quarters of his London showroom during London Fashion Week. Of course, the same rules apply: no pesky bloggers or third-tier celebrities in attendance, but “a small presentation for international monthly magazines,” said a spokesman, shot through the peeper lens of exactly one photographer, Terry Richardson. We’re dying to know which monthlies make the cut. I guess we’ll find out when another overly festive video comes out.
