Hooked: Salvatore Ferragamo

If the dance between form and function doesn’t have a name, Massimiliano Giornetti, in his second women’s outing at Salvatore Ferragamo, has sure learned the moves. For spring, the creative director has reinvented the house’s iconic silk headscarf in shades of indigo, ivory and sage ($160). Jaunty yet tidy, they speak of elegance and class, like a glamorous 70s ballet instructor demanding en pointe perfection from her doe-eyed, fawn-like girls. Looks like Giornetti’s vision for Ferragamo will be a tightly choreographed number. And one-two-three-four! One-two-three-four! Available next month at select Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques worldwide.
