No stranger to New York, Riccardo Tisci and his Givenchy gang have descended upon the chilly metropolis to shoot the house’s pre-fall collection. Just in time, reports WWD, Barneys New York is celebrating their retail launch of Givenchy online by commissioning a short film directed by Ruth Hogben, best-known for her eerie ventures with Gareth Pugh, and styled by Pans Yiapanis. The film, featuring Tisci’s muse Mariacarla Boscono in spring’s leopard best, is the latest in an ongoing alignment of the stars for the once-dusty, now-sizzling label.
